Recently, the Xinqiao Town Federation of Trade Unions successfully held a forklift worker skills competition at the venue of Minsheng Group with the theme of "Craftsmanship and Innovation to Build a New Bridge".
Before the competition, the All China Federation of Trade Unions emphasized the importance of this competition and encouraged participants to showcase their personal style, improve their technical level, and contribute to the prosperity and development of rural industries.
In addition, the All China Federation of Trade Unions also organized detailed pre competition training, with on-site guidance teachers personally demonstrating standard operating procedures and providing practical training to forklift operators to ensure that every aspect, from the accuracy of cargo handling to the stability of forklift operation, meets strict standards.
The competition process is intense and exciting, requiring participants to complete two consecutive projects, "pole winding transportation" and "precise loading and unloading", within a limited time of 10 minutes. The "pole winding transportation" project requires participants to drive a forklift, bypass six obstacles set up, transport the basketball placed on the pallet to the designated location, and then reverse back to the starting point. Throughout the process, the basketball must be kept from falling off. The "Precision Loading and Unloading" project requires participants to accurately place the goods in the designated location according to the established route within the specified time. These two stages not only require speed, but also extremely high precision, and any small mistake may affect the final result. In the competition, the participants were fully focused and did their best to drive the forklift flexibly between the predetermined obstacle posts, demonstrating their superb driving skills and positive spirit.
The successful holding of this forklift worker skills competition not only improved the professional skills of workers, but also promoted communication and learning within the industry, injecting new vitality into the craftsmanship spirit of Xinqiao Town.
